/ I made my own News viewer because I hate modern news

I've been using Google's discovery feed for news for years. The other day, I realized that they began to put X posts in my feed. I decided to make my own news viewer.

Seriously, how did Google think this was a good idea? X (fka Twitter) is the cesspit of the internet. Because of this I made my own News Viewer.

Just the News is a lightweight headline-based news viewer. It's built with Next.js and Tailwind CSS. I designed it to run fast, and with as little bloat as possible.

It still has all the features of most news apps. Bookmarks, Categories, and a dark mode. But, without the ads and bloat of most other News feed apps. It is also open source, and you can find the source code on GitHub.
